Came here for brunch and it was very pleasant. We got the pate, quiche, waffles and smoked salmon. We liked everything except the pate which we found odd, mostly because we were expecting something else. The Waffles were our favorite. We also got the crepe cake which was very nice but a little plain. We also got a croissant at the bakery which was incredible.
Great restaurant, though I was expecting more. I would give it 4 stars except that the price and expectation are high. I'm raising the bar on judging. I can't get over the fact the the beans in the cassoulet were tough. It's one of these things that's so easy to get wrong, though I would Bellecour to nail it. Also, the side salad accompanying the salmon tart, was overloaded with chive and shallot, and I generally have a high tolerance for onions. The good... the cauliflower dish is incredible - smokey, oily, spicy, with fresh mint. And our server was so nice to send us with a few complimentary macaroons to go.
Absolutely in love with the place! I've visited only the bakery so far and it is phenomenal. The pastries are so delicious- Savory Danish, Almond and Chocolate Coressont are my favorites. I was also delighted with their Crepe Cake and Banana Bread. The coffee is made correctly with high quality coffee beans. Their latte is my morning choice- it has a creamy texture with hints of chocolate in it. And last but not least, the staff- everybody is so friendly! They always greet me with a smile. Very patient and helpful when it come to choosing from such wide variety of sweets. This is my new favorite spot.
Delicious French-American food, fantastic service, pleasant, upscale environment, great drinks. I ordered the croque madame, which came with shoestring fries. It was good, but it was overpowered by all the fries and white sauce, too salty for a croque madame. Decent, but I've had better. Partner got the lobster citrus, which was amazing. We finished with the crepe cake, which was good and very well made. Our seat wasn't the best, it was dark against the wall, could've used more lighting or mirrors. Exceptional service. Overall, a great brunch place.
Well decorated and there was quite a buzz of the clientele. Not for an intimate dinner when we were there. The Onion Soup was phenomenal as was the Which Doctor (cocktail). The rest of the food was fine but not extraordinary. There is a gluten free menu available, however, rich in choices.
