Avoid if possible.

Extremely rude staff at this post office.

Not so great

RUDE and LACKING PROFESSIONALISM & KINDNESS. I had an appointment for passorts for my 2 children (2 & 4 y/o.) I was there at 9:50 for a 10:00 appointment. At the window the manager, an older woman with short gray wavy hair, told me I'd have to step aside and wait until 10. In the meantime I realized I had more paperwork to fill out than what I'd already prepared. So, I stepped aside and nearly finished before another woman with long black braids called me up. I explained I'd be completely ready at the very latest by 10:05, but similar to another review on here, they informed me I'd have to reschedule my appointment. I said I'd like to try and finish and then talk to the manager but the woman pointed to the line of customers and said, "she's busy." It's hard being a mom and trying to accomplish things with children in tow. Those 2 women were rude & completely lacking kindness & professionalism. My 4 y/o daughter commented on the way out, "mom we're getting kicked out?"... Even if they had expressed some sympathy or compassion instead of being cold and rude, my morning may not have begun with tears...

It is a historic building but it is still your typical post office.

The service at this post office was terrible! I went in for passports and they would not help me with filling the paper work out. I had to reschedule the appointment for an hour later then I came back and they wouldn't take me again. I had my three young children with me. My husband was parking and they said I was not ready. It was 10:30 when the appointment started and I was there at 10:25. Just because my husband was a few minutes late they wouldn't take us. I live an hour away and had been turned away twice. I had said this is not good customer service and he said it's not about that. What is going on with our service industry? Lot more happened but I walked out with me three children in toe and they even said "Mom they were mean to you." There was a man there for his passport and I said let him go first they still wouldn't do it!
